World Refugee Day

Wednesday, June 20th was the 17th annual World Refugee Day. This year has brought about a record number of displaced individuals; the refugee population has grown from 12 million in 2001 to over 25 million. Despite the Syrian population representing the largest portion of this figure, the US has only accepted 11 refugees since January. Please take a moment to reflect on the role of American citizens in alleviating the strife of all refugees worldwide.

In light of World Refugee Day, all Acrylic Dreams paintings will be 25% off until July 1st. Commissions will be open until September.

Thank you, and I hope we can build more bridges together!
